What is Todo App?
Todo App is a task list and Kanban board app designed for Roku and the web. It combines everyday todos, project sections, subtasks and visual boards in one workspace.
Can I use Todo App on my phone or computer?
Yes. After connecting from Roku, use Todo App in a web browser on iPhone, Android, tablets, Mac, PC and Linux computers.
How do I connect the web app to Roku?
Open Todo App on Roku, go to Settings - Web access, then enter the displayed Web Access code at todoapp.dev/web/.
Does Todo App support sections and subtasks?
Yes. Projects can contain named and color-coded sections, while tasks can contain indented subtasks that stay associated with their parent task.
Which tasks appear under Upcoming?
Upcoming contains open tasks whose due date is later than the current date. Tasks due today appear in Today, while past-due tasks appear in Overdue.
Can I create multiple Kanban boards?
Yes. Create multiple boards, rename and reorder columns, and move cards within the same column or to another column.
Can I export my Todo App data?
Yes. Download a portable JSON backup or export task data as CSV from the web app. Exported files are unencrypted, so store them securely.
Does Todo App include dark and light themes?
Yes. Dark mode is the default, and light, night and high-contrast options are available. Your appearance settings synchronize between Roku and the web.
How do I install Todo App on Roku?
Search for “Todo” in the Roku Channel Store and download the app. If your Roku remote supports voice commands, press the voice button and say, “Install Todo.”
How do I cancel or manage my subscription?
You can manage or cancel your Todo App subscription through the subscriptions section of your Roku account.
How is my data kept secure?
Your workspace is protected in transit with HTTPS and encrypted at rest on the service. Each workspace is isolated with a device-specific token, and browser access requires a short-lived, single-use Web Access code from your Roku.
